Lollipop Leadership

When you hear the word "Lollipop", it is very unlikely your mind will drift off into the high-end candy land of Scharfenberger and TCHO with glittery non-pareils and the vividness of a Willy Wonka-esque delusion. Nope. You might think of Shirley Temple and her good ship, of elementary school Valentine's Day boxes with Tootsie pops and Dum Dums, or (worst of all!) of a trip to the doctor's office ending dramatically with a shot, a sticker, and a lollipop.
That's the lollipop. There are no delusions of grandeur when someone thinks about it. How could they when the alternate names for that classic candy are "sucker" and "lolly"?! And, that is a good thing. The candy keeps it real. It is what it is and it is still beloved by all.
Lollipop leadership. Keeping it real. Realizing that leadership is an everyday thing. Every action matters. You matter and the choices that you make matter. You can set in motion something big with something as small and as humble as a lollipop. Make it a good one!
Tell us, what has been your experience with leadership on a micro-level?
